Our Story
K-12Buddy is built and operated by Cien Rios LLC, a small independent software company in Miramar, Florida. It started from a simple idea: a student stuck on a homework problem at 9pm should be able to ask a question and get an explanation.
K-12Buddy is a new product. Version 1.0 is free at launch, and we are building it in the open with the parents, teachers, and students who try it.
What it does: answers questions across K-12 subjects, walks through problems step by step, and gives parents visibility into what their child worked on. What it deliberately does not do: it does not grade schoolwork, it does not replace a teacher, it does not connect students to human tutors, and it does not write assignments for a student to hand in as their own.
