Delete your K-12Buddy account

Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)

1. Open the K-12Buddy app and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Account Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete Everything, then Yes, Delete Forever.

Your account and all of its data — profile, chat history, scanned homework, progress, and badges — are deleted right away. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Email support@cienrios.com from the email address on the account with the subject line “Delete my K-12Buddy account”. We will verify that you own the account (or are the parent or guardian of the student) and complete the deletion, generally within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your login and profile (name, email, grade level, state)
• Student profiles linked to your account
• Homework scans, photos, and tutoring chat history
• Learning progress, streaks, badges, and device registrations
• Parental-consent records

We may keep limited records for a short period where the law requires it (for example, records of a COPPA consent decision or fraud-prevention logs). Those records are not used for any other purpose and are deleted when no longer required. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play — manage those in your store subscription settings.
